Generative Creative Prototype

An interactive browser prototype for making abstract motion graphics from three visual templates: waves, vortex, and plasma.

Case study

What it helps with

Abstract motion work becomes easier to explore when the user can immediately change the character of the movement and see the result, rather than starting from animation code each time.

What was built

The prototype renders three shader-based templates—waves, vortex, and plasma—with controls for speed, intensity, and colour scheme. The interface also contains a prompt field, but that feature explicitly says “Coming Soon”; this case does not present text-to-animation as built.

What made it different

The prototype is a compact interaction experiment. It shows how a few well-chosen controls can turn technical animation parameters into something visual and approachable, without claiming a broader creative system that the code does not contain.

Lesson learned

A small set of responsive controls can make a visual system playful before natural-language generation is ready.

What it demonstrates

  • Three abstract animation templates
  • Speed, intensity, and colour controls
  • Browser-rendered motion preview
