EU Accessibility Act Checker
A 12-question quiz that helps a website, app, or software owner understand whether the European Accessibility Act may apply to them.
What it helps with
Small digital businesses may hear that the European Accessibility Act applies without knowing whether their product, market, or company size falls inside its scope. The first useful step is often a short applicability check, not a technical scan.
What was built
The prototype asks 12 deterministic questions and branches on the kind of product or service, whether it serves the EU market, and the microenterprise criteria. It gives a plain-language result and keeps the legal-advice boundary visible. Planned scanning and remediation features are not presented as built.
What made it different
The quiz does one modest job and says where it stops. That makes it useful for early triage while leaving accessibility testing, legal interpretation, and remediation to the work that follows.
A small deterministic questionnaire can be more honest than an automated compliance verdict.
What it demonstrates
- 12-question applicability flow
- Product, EU-market, and microenterprise branches
- Plain-language result with legal disclaimer
