What it will help with

People in high-pressure technology work may recognise burnout before they know how to talk about it. The planned assistant will offer a private place to ask basic questions and explore curated wellbeing material without presenting the exchange as treatment.

How it is intended to work

The open-source project is intended to provide a self-hostable question-and-answer experience backed by resources curated with mental-health professionals and academics. It will stay focused on burnout information and practical reflection, with an explicit boundary around assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and personalised medical intervention.

What should make it useful

The aim is deliberately modest: make focused burnout information easier to approach without requiring people to send private questions through a public service. Self-hosting will support that privacy choice, while the non-clinical boundary will keep the assistant’s role clear.
